What each star needs in Mini Airport's campaign, what each mission teaches, and how to score high enough for the second star.
What the stars mean
One star for completing the mission. Two stars for reaching its score target, which is shown in the briefing (about 80% of what its flights are worth). Three stars for doing it with no go-arounds you ordered and no late departures. Each new star pays 50 coins.
What each mission teaches
The first missions add one part of the job at a time, with an explainer card in the briefing: pushback and departures (including handing off in the Radar View), arrivals and gates, sharing the runway, holds and congestion, departure times, delays that can fail the mission, wind shifts, runway emergencies and, from mission 9, holding fuel. After that every feature is on and the missions keep getting busier.
Scoring for the second star
Every scoring action extends a streak. At 5, 10, 20 and 30 actions in a row, the points multiplier rises to 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x and 3x. A go-around you order or a late pushback breaks the streak.
- Plan landings so you never need to order a go-around.
- Hand off departures quickly: each hand-off is a scoring action.
- Face the tower's cleared direction on every pushback for the bonus.
