What Mission 9 asks
Mission 9 is the last hand-written mission and the toughest. Arrivals now burn fuel until they're cleared to land. Low on fuel they call PAN PAN, then MAYDAY. If one runs out, it crashes and the game is over. Runway emergencies and a wind shift are still on.
How to play it
Fuel turns the hold from a free buffer into a timer. Land the lowest-fuel aircraft first, and don't let a long departure queue keep a PAN PAN arrival circling.
- Land PAN PAN and MAYDAY aircraft before anything else, even before a departure that's due.
- Before the wind shift, land the arrivals with the least fuel.
- During a runway emergency, check fuel on everything in the hold: the closure lasts up to a minute.
After Mission 9
Every feature is on from here, and the missions keep getting busier, with one more arrival and departure each time and two wind shifts per mission.

How many missions does Mini Airport have?
