Run the tower

A small airport, a lot of traffic, and you in charge. Hold arrivals, land them, push departures back and get them airborne, one tap at a time.

Free on iPhone, iPad and Android. $5.99 on Mac, with no ads.

Follow a flight through your airport

Every aircraft passes through your hands twice: once coming in, once going out. Each step is a tap on its flight strip.

Step 1 of 7: send arrivals to a hold

Nobody lands without you

Arrivals burn fuel while they wait. Park them in the holds, then bring them in in the right order. Low on fuel, a pilot calls PAN PAN, then MAYDAY. Run one dry and the game is over.

  • Holds fill up

Three holding slots to start, up to six as your airport grows.

  • The wind turns

A countdown warns you before runway 27 becomes 09. Departures stop until you taxi them to the new end.

  • Runways close

After a bad landing, fire crews close the runway. Anything on final has to go around.

Thirty seconds of a shift

Before you take the job

Is Mini Airport free?

On iPhone, iPad and Android it's free, with ads. Android also sells Remove Ads and optional coin packs; on iPhone and iPad in-app purchases are coming soon. The Mac version costs $5.99 and has no ads or in-app purchases.

Do I need to know anything about air traffic control?

No. Every instruction is one tap on a flight strip, and the nine campaign missions add one part of the job at a time, starting with a single pushback.

Which languages can I play in?

English, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. The game follows your device's language, and you can change it in Options. The radio calls stay in English, as they do in real air traffic control.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad from the App Store, Android phones and tablets from Google Play, and Mac from the Mac App Store.

I'm stuck on a mission. Where can I get help?

Every campaign mission has a three-star walkthrough video with the plan written out beside it, and the strategy guides cover holds, pushback, the runway and delays. For anything else, email hello@miniairportgame.com.
